White, whose offensive production is down from last year's 23 goal performance with just six on the season now, scored once in each half to secure the win for UConn. The win improves the Huskies record to 23-16-5 all-time against Dartmouth and 6-3-4 on the season. The Big Green drop to 6-4-1.

The Big Green nearly got on the board with a sequence of two shots by Lucky Mkosana that were saved by UConn's Josh Ford in the 14th and 16th minutes. Ultimately, UConn opened up the scoring in the 17th minute with White's first tally of the day off assists from Akeem Priestly and Tony Cascio.

Dartmouth evened things up just four minutes later at 21:49 when junior back Donnie Surdoval nailed a header off a corner kick from sophomore Andrew Olsen (Norwell, Mass.) for his second goal of the season.

The Huskies closed the half aggressively pursuing the Big Green's goal, but senior Sean Milligan (Westport, Conn.) and the backline held tight for a 1-1 tie at the half.

Cascio and White connected again that did the Big Green in. Cascio passed the ball from the right side of the box to White who buries a shot high to make it 2-1, UConn at 73:46. Dartmouth pushed for the rest of the game, but was unable to get the equalizer.

Ford finished a solid evening with five saves while Milligan made two.
