Voltage Exorcise Phantoms

Take 1-0 Victory Over Rivals

The Vermont Voltage men scored in the 72nd minute to break a scoreless deadlock and capture a hard-fought 1-0 victory in a competitive match with the rival New Hampshire Phantoms.

The Voltage otushot the Phantoms, 21-11, in the game, finally going ahead on a Dan Stevens penalty kick tally in the second half of the Premier Development League match.

The win positions the Voltage a game out of the playoffs, with another win in the upcoming Saturday home game enough to send them to the playoffs.

Vermont (7-5-2) will host the Ottawa Fury next Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
