Vermont Makes it Two Straight

Prevails over Rhode Island, 3-0

The Vermont Voltage men won back-to-back games for the first time this season, beating the Rhode Island Stingrays, 3-0, Saturday in PDL play.

Forward Darko Kolic had a great game for the Voltage, striking the first goal for the team in the 45th minute off a ball from defender Panos Georgiadis add contributing with two more assists to account for all of Vermont’s goals.

Midfielder Dan Stevens found the back of the net in the 51st minute on a feed from Kolic. The Voltage capped the victory at 3-0 with an 81st minute goal from forward Matt Stedman that originated off a Kolic through ball.
