US Roster Set for Brazil
No Revs Named to Side That Faces Brazil at Soldier Field
CHICAGO — No New England Revolution players were selected to face Brazil in the United States’ match-up with the international powerhouse in Chicago, although one former Rev, Fulham FC’s Clint Dempsey, did make the cut.
Dempsey was joined by 18 others on coach Bob Bradley’s roster for the Sept. 9 match at Soldier Field. The U.S. roster includes 13 players from the squad that captured the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup in Chicago.

Defenders (7): Carlos Bocanegra (Fulham FC), Steve Cherundolo (Hannover 96), Jay DeMerit (Watford FC), Oguchi Onyewu (Standard de Liege), Heath Pearce (Hansa Rostock), Frank Simek (Sheffield Wednesday), Jonathan Spector (West Ham United);
Midfielders (6): DaMarcus Beasley (Glasgow Rangers), Michael Bradley (SC Heerenveen), Bobby Convey (Reading FC), Clint Dempsey (Fulham FC), Benny Feilhaber (Derby County), Pablo Mastroeni (Colorado Rapids);
