UNH's Kaplan Honored

Becomes Third Wildcat to Win Player of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Shaunna Kaplan of the University of New Hampshire women’s soccer team earned America East Player of the Week.

Kaplan, who is the third different Wildcat to earn player of the week honors this season, scored in the 35th minute to give her team a 1-0 victory over Hartford on Sunday. The win guaranteed UNH one of the top two seeds in the America East Championship and a first-round bye.

Kaplan now has two goals and two assists (six points) on the season to go along with 22 shots. The midfielder has played in all 16 games for UNH, starting 13.
