Two Locals on Girls' U14 Team

New Hampshire and Vermont Native Represent Team Stars

Two players from New England made the United States Under-14 girls team that will participate in the 2008 Women�s Nike Friendlies this week.

Midfielders Morgan Andrews of Milford, N.H., and Lauren Bernard of Colchester, Vt., were assigned to Team Stars, which along with Team Stripes, makes up the U14 US squad.

The teams will play six matches in the U-16 division at the Nike Friendlies, which began this Wednesday at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

Team Stripes already played one game, losing to Real So Cal, 4-1, in the tournament�s opening match.
