Soccer Camps in Connecticut

There are a variety of Day Camps to choose from in the Nutmeg State, which is so soccer rich, it may as well be named for the embarrassing soccer move of the same likeness.

Soccer Extreme has run camps in the region since 1992 and claims to be the first soccer camp in the country to offer “customized training methodology,” addressing the athlete’s “soccer problem” by focusing on tactical, technical, physical and psychological curriculums.

Legendary Connecticut men’s soccer coach Ray Reid continues to run a series of camps around Connecticut, even spreading into New York. Reid’s organization offers Young Stars camps for boys and girls ages 5-13 in the day, while holding camps for the high school age during the evening.

Also at UConn, Len Tsantiris, with over 450 wins in his DIvision 1 college coaching career, continues to offer the Pioneer Soccer School for Girls now in its 32nd year training individuals, small groups and teams in advanced tactical and technical aspects of the game.

But it's not just the big Division 1 schools that offer top camps. Connecticut College Soccer Camps combine college level coaching with some of the finest youth soccer facilities in Connecticut.

SoccerPlus runs camps throughout the region, including goalkeeper schools and field player academies that compliment the organization?s hold on the region and are presented by former US Women's National Team coach Tony DiCicco.
