Warren, 27, injured the elbow during a September 16 practice. He will miss the remainder of the season and postseason.

Warren made three MLS appearances in goal this year, spelling an injured Matt Reis. He earned a 1-0-1 record with a 2.09 goals-against average.

Warren made his first league appearance since 2005 when he entered the Revs' game at San Jose on Aug. 16, and started the team's next two league matches. In all competitions this season, Warren made seven appearances, going 2-2-2 with a 1.64 goals-against average in MLS, U.S. Open Cup and CONCACAF Champions League matches.

Second-year man Brad Knighton will assume the full backup ‘keeper duties for the remainder of the season. Knighton, signed to a developmental contract out of UNC-Wilmington last year, has not appeared in a first-team game this season.
