Revs Ready For Bermuda

Club Leaves For Annual Island Trip Wednesday

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Revolution will depart for their annual preseason trip to Bermuda Wednesday and will play a pair of friendlies against local opponents during their nine-day stay on the island.

This is the club’s fourth trip to Bermuda in as many seasons. The Revs have gone every year since 2005.

New England will conduct its training sessions - and play both game - at the National Sports Centre in Hamilton. The games against Bermuda opponents will be the team's first competition of the 2008 season.

On Saturday, Feb. 16, the Revs will face the Bermuda National Team at 7 p.m. The Revolution will play its second match of the trip on Wednesday, Feb. 20, when the team takes on the Bermuda National/Select Team at 7 p.m.

The following day, Thursday, the team will head back to Boston and after two more preseason trips, the Revs will open the 2008 season on Saturday, March 29 when the club hosts the Houston Dynamo in a rematch of MLS Cup 2007.

Wednesday, Feb. 13 - Travel to Bermuda; Training at 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 14 - Training, 10 a.m.
Friday, Feb. 15 - Training, 10 a.m.
Saturday, Feb. 16 - vs. Bermuda National Team, 7 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 17 - Training, 10 a.m.
Monday, Feb. 18 - Training, 10 a.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 19 - Training, 10 a.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 20 - Visit to Mount Saint Agnes Academy (Hamilton), 10:45 a.m.; vs. Bermuda National selection, 7 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 21 - Travel to Boston
