Revs sign Senegalese Midfielder Niouky Desire

The New England Revolution signed 23-year-old midfielder Niouky Desire on Monday. The native of Pikine, Senegal has played for Port Autonome of the Senegal Premier League the past four seasons.
Desire is a central midfielder who may be looked upon to fill the hole left when Jeff Larentowicz was traded to Colorado.
The Revolution opened their preseason tonight with a 2-0 loss against F.C. Dallas. Desire was unavailable and is waiting the receipt of his P-1 Visa.
