Residential Soccer Camps in Massachsusetts

Soccer camps in Massachusetts aren’t just confined to day camps. There are plenty of overnight options in the Bay State, as well.

One of the leaders of this highly competitive industry is former New England Patriots kicker John Smith, who has been in the camp business for almost 40 years. Smith virtually invented the soccer camp business in Massachusetts, and used to run dozens of day camps in towns all across eastern Mass. More recently, he's focused on doing fewer camps, but more of the overnight variety, which you can find right here.

In terms of sheer scale, his hold on the overnight market has been breached by the likes of Mass. Premier Soccer, Vogelsinger and SoccerPlus.

On the Cape, former MPS camp director, Paul Turner, is now a fierce competitor of the camps program that MPS runs through their USL team, the Cape Cod Crusaders. There are still New England mainstays, like Lighting Soccer and Eastern Soccer Academy, which have churned out great, competitive residential camps for years. More recently, Ferdie’s Soccer Magic has emerged as the central ball-control and ball-handling camp in the region – where you’re literally encourage to kiss the ball.
