Residential Soccer Camps in Connecticut
Connecticut is often ahead of the curve when it comes to soccer. That’s no different when it comes to the camp selections in the Nutmeg State, which may as well be named for the embarrassing soccer move of the same likeness.
SoccerPlus runs camps throughout the region, including goalkeeper schools and field player academies that compliment the organization’s hold on the region and are presented by SoccerPlus CT coach and former US Women’s National Team headman, Tony DiCicco.
Soccer Extreme has been around since 1992 and claims to be the first soccer camp in the country to offer “customized training methodology,” addressing the athlete’s “soccer problem” by focusing on tactical, technical, physical and psychological curriculums.
The area also boasts what was dubbed by Sports Illustrated For Kids as TOP CAMP in 1996 – Joe Machnik’s No. 1 Soccer Camps. Machnik, a Connecticut Soccer Hall of Famer, started the camp in 1977 and has been churning out goalkeepers ever since, including MLS keepers and No. 1 Camp alums Kevin Hartman, Joe Cannon, Nick Rimando and Jon Busch.
There are, of course, plenty of other operators, and we've done our best to list them all here. If we've missed any, it's easy to submit your camp information here.
Without further adieu, here is our list of residential soccer camps in Connecticut, listed first by date, then within each date range, by camp name alphabetically.
