Now facing off in Foxboro, the Revs will be looking to return the favor after going unbeaten in a two-game road trip with a depleted squad. This time the Revs might see a few familiar faces who were missing in that 4-0 loss to the Fire and even more who were missing in their 1-0 win over FC Dallas on April 24 return on Saturday.
Chris Albright, Jeff Larentowicz, Sainey Nyassi and Steve Ralston all may be available on Saturday after missing the Revs' last game (or in the case of Albright and Ralston nearly all of last month) due to injury. The Revs have had mixed results without some of their key players, going 2-2-1 after Ralston went down in an opening day victory.
It's not all good news, as Revs' all-time leading scorer Taylor Twellman, who has missed all of this season after undergoing meniscus surgery on his right knee and has 11 career goals against the Fire, will still be out for this match. Also adding to the injury worries is All-Star Michael Parkhurst, who is questionable with a right knee sprain.
Regardless of who is available, Nicol proved with his victory in Dallas 10 days ago that he is capable of grinding out a win even with most of his regulars out.
Chicago has proven a tough team this season and has only suffered one loss, but the Revs, even when forced to use an inexperienced lineup, showed against the formerly unbeaten Dallas that they are afraid of no one.
