Phantoms Fall to Fury

Drop to 1-7-2 on Year

June 18, 2009

Florian DeCamps two goals led the Ottawa Fury past the New Hampshire Phantoms, 2-0, in a PDL matchup on Tuesday night.

The Fury improved to 6-0-1 with the win, while the loss dropped New Hampshire to 1-7-2.

The Phantoms, playing on the road for their second game in four days, looked to upset the undefeated Fury, but Ottawa struck for two quick goals at the 34th and 37th minute to seal the win.

“Two mistakes cost us the game,” Phantoms’ coach Jim Dedeus said. “When you play a team like Ottawa, you can’t let your guard down. Other than the three-minute span, we were in the game.”
