Passion's Johnson Honored

Named to W-League Team of the Week

Ahna Johnson of the Connecticut Passion was named to the W-League Team of the week for her two-goal performance last week.

Johnson, who plays here college ball at Fairfield, doubled her goal total on the year to four, including the game winning goal in a 1-0 upset of Jersey Sky Blue Saturday.

At Fairfield, Johnson was named to the MACC All-Conference and All-Academic teams as both a sophomore and junior.

The CT Passion, since starting the season 0-2-2, have gone 5-1-0 over their last six games.
