Urbas Named W-League Player of the Week

Natalie Urbas had a huge hand leading the Connecticut Passion to their first two franchise victories over the weekend and was rewarded Wednesday by being named the W-League Player of the Week.

The forward had four goals in wins over Northern Virginia and Fredericksburg and propelled Connecticut to fourth place in the Northeast Division of the W-League.

Joining Urbas on the Team of the Week was Boston Renegades midfielder Mary McDonnell, who netted two goals in a 2-0 weekend for the division-leading club.
