Connecticut Draws with Magic, 3-3

The Connecticut Passion surrendered a late goal in the 88th minute to settle for a 3-3 with the New York Magic in the season opener for both clubs.
Quinnipiac�s Fortuna Velaj scored twice for the Passion, tallying in the 49th and 72nd minutes.
Midfielder Tania Domingos scored the first goal of the year for the Passion, erasing an early 1-0 deficit with a goal in the 15 minute.
After Velaj�s second goal put Connecticut up, 3-2, New York�s Courtney Lane equalized with two minutes left in regulation on her second goal of the game.
The Passion (0-0-1) are next in action Sunday, May 24, when they host Long Island.
