Beverly native Mike Singleton has coached in Delaware, Indiana, Pennsylvania and Illinois since hanging up the cleats and picking up the clipboard. Now he’s coming home as the Director of Coaching for Mass. Youth Soccer and looking for ways to push Massachusetts’ youth up into the elite levels of American soccer.

10/1/03 - Singleton on the Need to Change Massachusetts' Soccer Culture. Mike Singleton believes that a lot needs to change in Massachusetts before the state’s 185,000 registered youth players are are able to reach their full potential. A big part of the problem seems to be the youth soccer culture in the Bay state.
