The Fighting Irish improved to 21-0-0 on the year, while the Huskies finished their season at 7-9-6.

Henderson was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the tournament and earned a spot on the All-Tournament team.

UConn senior goalkeeper Stephanie Labbe tied her career high with 13 saves, including seven in the second half. She also had 13 stops against the Irish at home on Oct. 19, 2008.

Connecticut tallied 13 shots, but just two on goal, while the Irish mustered 29 shots, including 15 on goal. It also was a physical contest with 14 fouls whistled against Notre Dame and 11 against Connecticut.
