Nine Local Schools in DIII Men's Tourney

Defending Champ Middlebury Headlines List

Nine teams from New England qualified for the 58-team NCAA Division III men’s soccer tournament.

Babson is one of nine New England teams in the DIII men's soccer tournament.

Defending champs Middlebury, which beat Trinity University (Texas) in penalty kicks in last year’s final, heads a group that also includes Amherst, Babson, Clark, Framingham State, MIT, Norwich, Rhode Island College and Western New England.

Babson (16-4-1), the winner of the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference, will host Rhode Island College (12-5-4) this Saturday. In that same bracket, Middlebury (13-2-2) will play Framingham State (16-3-1) and Clark (11-4-2) will battle Norwich (17-2-1).

Commonwealth Coast Conference champion Western New England (16-1-5) will host Amherst (12-3-2) in the bracket below and MIT plays a non-New England opponent in St. Lawrence.
