SNHU and St. Anselm Battle to Scoreless Draw

Fourth-ranked Southern New Hampshire University and Saint Anselm College played to a 0-0 tie in Northeast-10 men’s soccer Wednesday afternoon at Saint Anselm’s Melucci Field.
The Penmen extended their unbeaten streak to 14 games (11-0-3) as they now stand at 13-1-3 overall and 9-0-3 in the NE-10, while the Hawks are now 6-8-2 and 4-5-2 in the league.
SNHU keeper Sean Lambert earned his eighth shutout of the season by making seven saves. It also marked the 12th shutout of the season for the Penmen as a team. Saint Anselm keeper John Corridan made five saves.
SNHU closes out the regular season next Wednesday when it travels to UMass Lowell for a 7 p.m. contest. Saint Anselm returns to action Saturday night as the Hawks travel to Southern Connecticut for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
