NEFC Announces New Staff
New Mega-Club Expands Reach in Massachusetts
June 8, 2009
As part of the merger between New England Eagles and FC Puma, the resulting club will be expanding into the South Shore of Massachusetts.
With the expansion comes the appointment of additional staff to run the new branch in the South Shore. Bridgewater State College men’s soccer assistant coach Brendon Boates has accepted the position of Academy Director South Shore, effective immediately. Boates was also a Rhode Island ODP head coach.
New England FC is also continuing its geographical expansion into the south coast of the state – the Dartmouth, New Bedford and Fall River region – and has appointed Patrick Marino formerly of the Scorpions to join as the Director of the NEFC South Coast satellite.
Meanwhile, Cory Kinsella has accepted the position of Staff Coach at NEFC. Kinsella has been the head coach at Pine Manor for the past 3 years. Prior to that she was the head coach at Wheelock College.
All tryouts for the South Shore teams will be held in Canton, and South Coast teams will be held in Dartmouth. For more information, visit the club’s website at www.newenglandfc.org .
