Monroe Earns WPSL Honors
Aztec's 4 Goals Puts Her on League's Team of the Week

Boston Aztec midfielder Mary-Frances Monroe has been named to the Women�s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Team of the Week, as announced by the league Tuesday.
The defending 2008 WPSL East Player of the Year scored four goals in Aztec�s 8-0 win over the Maine Tide Saturday. Monroe - a former Boston Breaker who has been training regularly with the WPS side this season - helped Aztec improve its record to 5-0.
Incoming Boston College freshman Vicki DiMartino, who plays for the Long Island Fury, was named co-Player of the Week after combining for three goals and two assists in wins over the Philadelphia Liberty (3-1 on Thursday) and SoccerPlus CT Reds (3-2 on Monday).
