Rhode Island Wins and Loses 5-1 Decisions

The Rhode Island Stingrays tasted opposite ends of 5-1 decisions this weekend.
The PDL club defeated the New Jersey Rangers, 5-1, on Saturday then fell by the same score to the New Jersey Ironbound Express on Sunday.
Providence College�s Matthew Marcin scored twice in Saturday�s victory. Teammate Timothy Ritter and URI�s Dominic Petrarca and Jonathan Pereira each added talleys.
Pereira also added the lone score for the Stingrays in Sunday�s defeat.
Rhode Island (1-1-1) next plays Saturday when it hosts the Ocean City Barons at 7:00 p.m. at Rhode Island College.
