December 3, 2007

CLEVELAND, OH – The Massachusetts Twisters of the American Indoor Soccer League lost to the Rockford Rampage, 6-5, on a last minute overtime goal Sunday night at the Eastern States Coliseum.

A goal by Eric Luken with 57 seconds remaining in the first overtime period gave the Rampage the win in front of an AISL season-high crowd of 1,188.

The Twisters (0-3) held a 5-1 lead late in the game, but the Rampage (4-0) mounted a late comeback capped off by Lukin’s goal.

The Rampage’s win cemented their hold on first place in the league after the first four weekends of the season.

The Twisters will host the Northern Illinois Rebels next Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
