Moore, the 15th overall pick by the Boston Breakers in January's WPS Draft, gets to play for the Aztecs as part of the club’s “farm team” relationship with the Breakers.
The U-23 Women’s National Team standout was the dominant defensive presence in the Aztec’s road wins over Lancaster and Millburn this weekend. She notched the game-tying goal against the Inferno on a laser of a 30-yard free kick.
Teammate goalkeeper Ashley Phillips joined Moore on the WPSL Team of the Week. Another Breakers’ developmental player, Phillips allowed only a goal in two road wins for the Aztec, making five saves on 1v1 situations including a show-stopper on a shot from 12 yards out.
Meanwhile in men’s news, Western Mass. Pioneer defender Federico Molinari was named to the USL Second Division Team of the Week. Molinari helped head a Pioneer defense that held Crystal Palace Baltimore scoreless in a 0-0 deadlock last Thursday.
