Local Academies Face Off

New England Clubs Battle it Out

In US Soccer Development Academy action last weekend, the four New England teams matched-up in both the Under-15/16 and Under-17/18 age groups.

The two Connecticut clubs, Oakwood Soccer Club and South Central Premier, played each other, while New Hampshire’s Seacoast United faced off against FC Greater Boston (Mass.).

In the younger age group, both games were scoreless draws. In the older bracket, South Central Premier was able to get by Oakwood, 2-1, while FC Greater Boston beat Seacoast, 5-3.
