Lady Pioneers Get First Win

Take Advantage of Winless Voltage

In a battle of the defeated, the Western Mass. Lady Pioneers downed the Vermont Lady Voltage, 5-1, Wednesday night to notch their very first victory of the season while simultaneously keeping Vermont winless.

The Lady Pioneers got goals from four different goalscorers, scored the first three goals of the match and, after a Voltage goal in the 72nd minute, added two more for good measure.

The Lady Pioneers improve to 1-7 with their first win, while the Lady Voltage fall to 0-10.
