Senior Selina Moylan (Co. Clare, Ireland) has recently been called up by the Republic of Ireland National team to play against the United States of America in Giants Stadium Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

The US, coming off its gold medal performance at the 2008 Summer Olympics, will be playing 10 games across America in its Achieve Your Gold Tour to celebrate its performance in Beijing.

Moylan will be in search of her first full international cap after playing for the Republic of Ireland at the U17 and U19 levels. Moylan was the captain of the U19 national team prior to her arrival at the University of New Haven in 2004.

Moylan has been a three-time NSCAA All-American, three-time NSCAA All-Region, and three-time All-Conference selection while patrolling the midfield for the Chargers. This year, Moylan leads the Chargers with 11 points (five goals, one assist).
