Indoor: Twisters' Game Rescheduled In Springfield

CLEVELAND, OH – The Massachusetts Twisters’ Nov. 3 game with the Northern Illinois Rebels was rescheduled for March 2, but will be played in Springfield’s Eastern States Coliseum instead of in Waukegan, Illinois, American Indoor Soccer League commissioner Paul Lepointe announced Sunday.

Kickoff time will be announced by the end of the week.

“Of course, we would have rather played the game in Waukegan in front of the Rebels’ home fans,” said Lapointe. “However, we were informed by Rebels management that there were issues securing their home arena, and since the team was going to be in Springfield on March 1, we felt that it would be in the best interests of all parties to play the game at the Coliseum on the 2nd.”
