Harvard Adds Assistant to Staff
Cahill Former Big East 'Keeper of the Year

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Two-time Big East goalkeeper of the year Chris Cahill joined the Harvard men’s soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach Wednesday.
Cahill will join coach Jamie Clark’s staff after completing his collegiate career with a stellar season in 2007, posting a 13-3-5 record with a 0.79 goals-against average. He recorded nine shutouts and was selected as the Big East goalkeeper of the week on three occasions. He led the Fighting Irish to the NCAA quarterfinal round after making five saves in a 2-0 win over Santa Clara, as he established a school record with his fourth career shutout during NCAA Championship play.
Cahill finished his career with a 39-16-9 record, including action in three NCAA tournaments, and was a Big East Academic All-Star.
A native of Louisville, Ky., Cahill graduated from Notre Dame in 2007 with a degree in American Studies.
