SNE Hall of Fame NominationHere's a neat feature we've added that allows visitors to nominate candidates for induction into an online Soccer New England Hall of Fame.Certainly you can nominate your favorite professional player, either from the Revs or from previous incarnations of professional soccer in the region, male or female. College players, youth players, coaches and administrators from past and present are also fair game. But our hope is that we'll also get nominations for less well-known people who, nevertheless, have made significant contributions to the New England soccer scene. Hey, you could even nominate yourself! Nominees do not have to be native New Englanders in order to be considered. They just have to have contributed to the New England Soccer sceene in some way. So Clint Dempsey, Pia Sundage and Eusebio would all be suitable candidates. You can even nominate an institutional candidate with New England ties, such as ESPN or Reebok. Over time, we hope to build a local soccer "Wikipedia" (or should that be "WikiSNEdia") that highlights the acheivements of thousands of people who have helped to make the New England soccer scene what it is today. Oh, and one other neat feature is that other people can add to your entry after the fact to either update or complement the information you've provided. So if you want to nominate Taylor Twellman but don't know all of his stats from the day he joined the Revs, someone else can add that information later, and we can update your entry accordingly.
Nominate anyone from the New England soccer community past or present: Players, coaches, administrators and media members from the youth, the college and the professional ranks. Who Other Visitors Have NominatedClick below to see nominations made by other visitors to this page...
