Club Announces Two Schedule Alterations

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The Revolution announced a few game changes yesterday. The club’s home match against the New York Red Bulls, which had been scheduled to take place on Saturday, Aug. 2, has been changed to Wednesday, June 18. The game will be televised on the Revs’ regional television partner, TV38, at 7:30 p.m.
Additionally, the Revs announced that kickoff for its Sept. 11 match in Foxborough against Chivas USA has been moved up to 7 p.m. from 7:30 p.m. to accommodate ESPN2’s programming schedule.
The Revolution begin the season March 29 when the team hosts the Houston Dynamo at Gillette Stadium.
Revs’ Notes:
In other Revolution news, the club will train twice this week at the Dana Farber Field House at Gillette Stadium before departing on Thursday for a six-day training trip in New Orleans, La.
The Revs will practice at home on both Tuesday and Wednesday, and will then travel south for six days of training that will include two matches against Marathón of Honduras – a closed-door scrimmage on Friday evening and a full public match on Sunday.
