In the WPSL, New England Mutiny midfielder Jenny Maurer was named to the WPSL Team of the Week. The former Boston College star helped keep her team in the playoff hunt with a goal and an assist in the club’s 3-2 comeback win over the SoccerPlus CT Reds.

Meanwhile, Kasey Moore earned her second WPSL Team of the Week honor in as many appearances for Boston Aztec. The 21-year old Boston Breaker was the controlling midfield force - on both ends of the field - in Aztec’s victory over Bay State, keeping Boston undefeated (alongside Long Island) in the WPSL East at 7-0.

Jen Leaverton of Bay State Select garnered an Honorable Mention for her hat trick in an important 4-2 WPSL East win over New York A.C. All three goals came from outside the 20-yard box with two more of her shots hitting the crossbar.

Almir Barbosa of USL-2 side Western Mass. Pioneers is in the league’s Team of the Week for his important goal in the club’s 2-2 weekend draw at Bermuda.
