The Eagles enter the 48-team, single-elimination national tournament with a 12-8 record. Dartmouth enters the tournament with a 10-6-1 mark. Kickoff is scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. in Chestnut Hill, Mass.

The teams will meet for the first time this season and for the first time since NCAA tournament play last November when the Big Green advanced past Boston College on penalty kicks, 4-2, after playing 110 minutes of scoreless action.

The winner advances to face No. 13 seed St. John's (NY) on Nov. 22 at 6 p.m.

Ivy League champion Harvard get’s a first-round bye in the tournament, and will host either UConn or Monmouth Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

Harvard finished the regular season with a 13-3-1 overall record, including a 5-1-1 mark in the Ivy League. The Crimson enters the NCAA tournament having won five of its last six games, including three in a row.

UConn (11-4-3) downed Harvard, 4-0, earlier this season in Storrs, Conn., on Oct. 14.

Rounding out the field of New England participants in the tournament is Brown (10-2-5), who will host Stony Brook Thursday at 7 p.m. The winner travels to take on North Carolina, the tournament’s No. 5 seed, Sunday at 2 p.m.
