Dartmouth Keeper Named WPSL All-Star

Peak Represents Midwest

SACRAMENTO, CALIF. -- Dartmouth women's soccer senior goalkeeper Laurel Peak was named a Women's Premier Soccer League Midwest All-Star last week.

Peak, a Redding, Conn. native, spent her summer playing for the Middleton Yahara Soccer Club Lady Blues as part of the Midwest League in the WPSL. Peak's MYSC team has advanced to the national final four this weekend.

Peak earned her all-conference status after helping her squad to an 8-1-0 record including a big 1-0 upset of previously undefeated Brevard County Lady Blues in the regional finals. Peak and the Lady Blues travel to Sacramento, Calif. this weekend for the MPSL Final Four and will face Ajax America in the semifinals on Saturday.

The winner of that match with face the winner of the New England Mutiny-Arizona Rush game.
