Crusaders Take Out Rage

Even Record at 1-1

May 20, 2008

The Cape Cod Crusaders evened their record at 1-1 after downing the Reading Rage, 1-0, last weekend behind a goal from Yan Klukowski.

Goalkeeper Evan Bush made a win-saving stop with about a minute left, ensuring the Crusaders’ 27th win in their past 28 home games, the only blemish a 2-1 setback to the New Hampshire Phantoms in Cape Cod’s season opener.

Klukowski’s goal came in the opening minutes of the second half off a feed from forward Chris Banks.

The Crusaders now travel to Providence, RI where they’ll face the Rhode Island Stingrays Wednesday night at Pierce Memorial Stadium.
