Bolts Win BU14 North Division
FC Greater Boston Earns Trip to Playoffs

The FC Greater Boston Bolts boy’s Under-14 team won its last two Region 1 Premier League games at last weekend to earn a trip to the playoffs as the undefeated North Division champs.
The Bolts defeated Bayside Aston Villa 1-0 and PDA Ronaldo 2-1, both in regulation last weekend at MYSA's Citizens Bank Fields in Lancaster. The Bolts finished with a 5-0-2 division record.
The Premier League Champions will join the Region's State Cup winners in the National Championships qualifying series.
FCGB BU14 team includes 15 players from all over the Boston area and southern New Hampshire. They are coached by former Harvard men’s soccer coach John Kerr, Sr. Technical Director of the Bolt's organization.
In addition to this Region 1 season, the 2007-20087 U14s were unbeaten in Fall Mass MAPLE Division 1 competition, and won the PA Classics Keystone Cup, TD BankNorth Seacoast Invitational and the Wheaton College Soccer Festival.
The Bolts’ semifinal opponent looks to be Olney Rangers, the reigning Maryland State Cup winners; although the Baltimore Casa Mia Bays can take over second in the south if they win their final match.
