Sophomore Janie Reilly turned in a effort for the Terriers (1-1-0), making four saves to blank the Rams (0-2-0).

After an evenly played match through the first 68:01, sophomore Lina Cords stepped up to take a corner kick and launched the ball into the box where Herman was able to get on the end of it, heading it home for the game-winner.

In net, Reilly earned the start and delivered with a four-save effort to earn the Terriers’ first shutout of the season.

BU and URI were even with 11 shots apiece; however, the Terriers held the decisive 6-1 edge in corner kick opportunities. Junior Farrell McClernon led all players with two shots on goal - three overall.
