Boston College won the 2007 ACC regular-season and tournament titles and earned the NCAA Tournament's No. 1 seed, where it fell to UMass in the second round.

BC finished its season with a record of 15-5-1, including a mark of 7-1-0 in league play. Its 15 wins ranks just second in Kelly's 20-year tenure at BC to the 2002 club that won 18 games.

The honor marks the third time (in the last seven seasons) that Kelly has earned regional coach of the year recognition. He previously captured NSCAA/adidas New England Regional Coach of the Year honors in 2000 and 2002. Kelly also earned Atlantic Coast Conference Coach of the Year honors this fall, garnering the distinction in the program's third season in a new league. That honor marked the fifth time in Kelly's tenure that he garnered conference coach of the year recognition. He earned Big East Conference Coach of the Year laurels in 1989, 1990, 2000 and 2002.

Bedoya, the Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Year and semifinalist for the Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy, played in all 21 games this fall. He recorded 26 points -- eight goals and a team-high 10 assists.

The Weston, Fla., resident finished the season with a team-high 85 shots and shared the team lead in game-winning goals with four.

Manswell made his second career appearance on the All-ACC second team and is also earning NSCAA/adidas allregion honors for the second time (in three seasons). He previously captured All-Conference second-team honors and All-Northeast Regional third-team recognition as a sophomore in 2005. The Trinidad resident played in all 21 games and finished the season ranked first on the team in points (29) and goals (11). He totaled seven points - three goals and one assists - in three conference tournament victories and earned 2007 ACC Tournament Most Valuable Player honors.

Ayarna is an All-Conference first-team selection who played in 20 games this season; he missed one game - against Massachusetts (Nov. 28) in the NCAA Tournament - because of injury. He recorded 13 points on two goals and nine assists. He finished the season ranked second on the team in assists and shots (47).

Brown played in and started all 21 games in goal in 2007. He finished the season with a 15-5-1 record, a 0.76 goals against average (16 goals against in 21 games) and an .805 save percentage. The six-foot-five-inch goalkeeper recorded eight shutout performances and captured All-ACC second-team honors.
